First in the Carpet Cleaning Industry
We are proud to be the first in the carpet cleaning industry to launch a product line that is compliant with today's restrictive environmental regulations. We expect this product line to be particularly successful in California, where currently the VOC limit for carpet and upholstery cleaners is 0.1% for the diluted product. However, these stringent VOC limits are gradually to be adopted by the rest of the country. We are being pro-active on this issue and offering our customers an alternative before these laws go into effect. Along with the new Chemspec Green product line, Chemspec's current extraction cleaners & pre-sprays are also VOC compliant.

Warning
Prior to treating the item, test for loss of dimensional stability. Spray in an inconspicuous area, such as the zippered portion of a cushion. Allow to thoroughly dry, then inspect for puckering, loss of dimensional stability, etc. Chemspec will not assume the risk or liability of this condition.
Apply to wet cleanable fabric only.

Directions
 

  • Do not dilute. Use Fabric Stainshield® as it comes from the bottle.
  • Before use, test on an inconspicuous area for colorfastness.
  • Apply evenly with a sweeping motion. Allow furniture to dry before use.

     

    Helpful Application Hints
     

  • Avoid spraying non-fabric areas. If sprayed inadvertently, wipe immediately.
  • During application, hold spray tip perpendicular to surface.
  • Apply "second coat" to fabric areas subject to heavy soiling such as cushions, arms. etc.
  • 32 ozs. will cover a 7-8 foot sofa. 12 ozs. will cover a chair.
  • Hold 12 inches away from fabric, mist and lightly brush in.
  • Do not use on dry cleaning fabrics like silk or chintz.
